The center tyke between two sisters, Zachary Levi was conceived as Zachary Levi Pugh, on September 29, 1980, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Susan (Hoctor) and Darrell Pugh. He utilizes his center name as his stage surname, since his original name, “Pugh”, which is of Welsh starting point, sounds an excessive amount of like “Seat”; his other parentage incorporates English, French, German, Irish, and Scottish. He grew up everywhere throughout the nation, before his family put down roots in Ventura County, California. At the early age of six, Zachary started acting, singing and moving in school and neighborhood theater preparations.
In the wake of moving on from Buena High School, he made a beeline for Los Angeles to seek after his fantasy of acting. Zachary started acting in theater, performing jobs in such local creations like Grease, The Outsiders, Oliver, The Wizard of Oz and Big River. It was his depiction of Jesus in Ojai’s Godspell that carried him to the consideration of Hollywood.
He had a supporting job in the television motion picture Big Shot Confessions of a Campus Bookie (2002) with David Krumholtz, Tory Kittles, Jennifer Morrison and Nicholas Turturro. He at that point started going about as Kipp Steadman in the TV arrangement Less Than Perfect (2002) with Sara Rue, Andrea Parker, Eric Roberts, Andy Dick and Sherri Shepherd.
