Vera Farmiga is an American on-screen character who got an Academy Award selection for Best Supporting Actress for her job in a Primetime Emmy Award assignment for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her job in Bates Motel (2013).

She was conceived Vera Ann Farmiga, the second of seven youngsters, on August 6, 1973, in Clifton, New Jersey, USA, to Ukrainian guardians. She didn’t communicate in English until the age of six, and was brought up in the Ukrainian Catholic home of her mom, Luba (Spas), a teacher, and her dad, Michael Farmiga, a PC frameworks examiner. Her more youthful sister is on-screen character Taissa Farmiga, who is 21 years her lesser. She went to a Ukrainian Catholic school, at that point went to state funded school.
