Tessa Thompson

The entertainer Tessa Lynn Thompson was conceived on October 3, 1983 in Los Angeles, California. She is the little girl of vocalist songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the granddaughter of on-screen character performer Bobby Ramos. She was brought up in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her father is of Afro-Panamanian lineage and her mother is of Mexican and British Isles parentage. Thompson went to Santa Monica High School, where she was included in various theater productions. After graduation, she selected at Santa Monica College, where she acquired a degree in social human sciences.

She featured as Juliet in William Shakespeare’s show “Romeo and Juliet” in a production held at the Boston Court Theater in Pasadena, California. Her presentation from earned her the NAACP Theater nomination that year. Far from the theater arrange, In 2005, Tessa showed up when she featured in the CBS arrangement Cold Case (2003). Gifted like her father Marc, Tessa’s versatility reaches out to music, as an individual from Electro Band, through which she has created numerous songs, incorporating one utilized in her film ‘Dear White People.’

Since her acting profession started in 2002, Tessa has assumed amazing jobs in mainstream television arrangement and motion pictures including Murder on the 13th Floor (2012), Make It Happen (2008), Red and Blue Marbles (2011), Creed(2015) and Thor: Ragnarok (2017), just to mention a couple.
