Benjamin Walker was conceived Benjamin Walker Davis in Georgia, and was brought up in Cartersville, GA, the child of Jeannine (Walker), a music instructor, and Greg Davis, who worked in money and possessed a motion picture rental store. He has one more seasoned sibling. Walker was taught at Cartersville High School in Georgia and the Interlochen Arts Academy in Traverse City, Michigan, before contemplating acting at the Juilliard School in New York.

While at Juilliard, Walker got his first encounters of performing for paying spectators as a high quality humorist. His acting break came in 2007, when he was given a role as Bertram Cates in a Broadway creation of ‘Acquire the Wind’. Further theater jobs pursued, incorporating playing Andrew Jackson in the stone melodic ‘Grisly Bloody Andrew Jackson’, which was widely praised.
